Due to a declination of an outdated shopping arcade, Hey! Coffee Motorway is designed to offer a lifeline to the rest area of this renowned motorway. Proposing a new façade to the surrounding in order to lessen a mess of existing chaotic façade with the monolithic cladding aluminum. Four 3D letters are designed to create a signage for the shop, which can be seen and read from every angles from different spots. Inside, stereo-typed bar is laid in the middle of the shop to slow down all passengers and tourists from their usual rush holiday. Surrounding the store by information display about brand’s product, for acknowledging people who are new to the brand and installing shelves for lining products for take away. All materials and finishing also reflect its context of the industrial district, basic materials such as metal, brick and timber are all represented themselves as an everyday materials echoing slogan of the brand, everyday coffee.
